Many people get worried when one starts talking about God’s law and His feasts (which many mistakenly call the Jewish Feasts). No where is it written in the Bible, or do we imply, that following God’s law is needed for salvation! We do, however, teach of the beauty of His laws and their relationship to us today!
So here is our foundational belief:
Deut. 6:4-9, starting with “Hear Oh Israel, Yehovah (the LORD) our God, Yehovah is one. You shall love Yehovah your God with all your heart; all your soul; and all your might. (Yeshua (Jesus) called this the first and most important commandment!)
Lev. 19:18, you shall love your neighbor as yourself; I am Yehovah (the LORD). (Yeshua called this the second most important command.)
John 3:16, For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son… Yeshua (Jesus).
John 14:6, Yeshua (Jesus) said, I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through me.
1 John 4:3, Yeshua (Jesus) our Messiah came in the flesh!
1 Thes. 4:14, Yeshua died and rose again!
Heb. 9.28: Yeshua (Jesus) is returning!
Why do I include commandments as a statement of belief? Because living out these commandments is what we are called to do!
